Housework, sexy?

August 22, 2007 at 4:25 pm (sexism, stupidity) ()

More propaganda of the “housework is hot and/or good for you spiritual/physical/mental health (but only if you’re female and living with a man)” variety. Via Feministe, I bring you a sex toy that attaches to the end of a vaccuum. Because fulfilling one’s womanly duty of taking on all care relating to the the home is sexy.

Well, it offers an incentive to vacuum other than “”Because it’s your womanly duty.” Unless the definition of “womanly duty” has finally been expanded to include orgasm?

I just had a guest yell at me for not vacuuming. Thankfully I had read this post last night and remembering it I replied “it’s a male prerogative NOT to vacuum, we do take out the garbage and lawn mow as manly duties!” hheheheheheheh

The scientifically impossible I do right away
The spiritually miraculous takes a bit longer

Ha, Daisy, I guess you’re right. About the incentive part.
