July 12, 2007 at 9:32 am (LGBT, neat things, politics)

The first ever presidential debate dedicated solely to LGBT issues will be held on August 9th in Los Angeles. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Chris Dodd, and John Edwards have confirmed that they’ll be there. No word yet about whether the rest of the democratic candidates will participate or not. The debate will be sponsored by LOGO and the Human Rights Campaign, and aired on LOGO. Joe Solmonese, president of the Human Rights Campaign, and Melissa Etheridge will serve as panelists, among others. The content of the questions asked will range from relationship and marriage equality to work equality and health issues.

Tune in.
